Senior Project

My project is a series of six animated illustrations that showcase an original, fictionized story. The narrative centers on a young woman living in rural Mexico in the 1950s, following her through a series of unfortunate events that permanently alter her. The animated illustrations follow her through these events, which occur throughout a single day. Among these narratives are numerous themes related to the Mexican identity, machismo, folklore, religion, and spirituality.
